I’ll never understand why people hate on Scott so much. Yeah he’s not the smartest guy, but he’s sweet and cute and endearing and caring and passionate and protective and heroic and a whole bunch of other awesome things. In fic people tend to make Stiles a lot more caring than he is and make Scott a lot more selfish and jerky. What they forget is that Stiles can be quite callous when it comes to people he doesn’t particularly care about. Only Scott, his dad, Mrs Mcall, Lydia, and more recently and arguably Allison are the ones he cares about, and he’d die for them and he’d do anything to protect them INCLUDING leaving others to die. Stiles only helps all those people becasue Scott wants to and Stiles wants to keep Scott safe. He activley tries to talk Scott out of doing anything that might put him in danger, even when it means not getting involved while others are being hunted. Stiles is awesome, but lets not forget that Scott is the reason Stiles gets involved in the first place. If Scott died, you can bet Stiles would never have anything to do with the pack or the dangerously supernatural again no matter how many people were dying (unless it then put his dad in danger). Scott is the bleeding heart who wants to save everyone and he doesn’t deserve your crap.
